आपल्याला भेटून आनंद झाला . (aaplyala bhetun aanand zaala)

Now let us dissect this sentence and learn each word one by one

1.आपल्याला  means “To you”

The suffix -ला is used with the pronoun आपण(You) and together they become आपल्याला

This is very similar to the way we say मला (to me) or त्याला (to him)

2.भेटून  is the made of two words  :

भेटणे (bhetne) = to meet

and the suffix-उन

The verb gets suffix -उन is used when action has been done  and the subject has proceed for another action

for example : सचिन खेळून गेला = Sachin went after playing

मी जाऊन आलो= I came after going there

 

3.आनंद झाला =  became happy

मोगाम्बो ला आनंद झाला = Mogambo became happy

मला आनंद झाला = I became happy (literal meaning)
