All these sentences ends with ‘te’, does it mean that these are spoken by a lady? And in case of any gentleman speaking any of these sentences should end the sentence with ‘to’, please clarify. And lots of thanks for such a wonderful website for learning Marathi. The style is indeed lucid. Great work, hats off to you brother
Hi Praveen,
Nice observation. Here you wish to say that you like a particular process not an object or a person, so all these sentences with “verb-la ” ends with -te only.
eg. mala kriket khelayla avadte.
mala sachin avadto.
mala katrina avadte.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.
Regards
Akshay.
i think in the last sentence it should be….mala aamba khayla aavadte…not khaycha
yup
For alphabet “I”, when to use mAla and when me ?
mala is the object form (to me)
where ‘me’ is nominative form.
