Thank You Patel jee and nice to hear that this website really helped someone. Your feedback will definitely encourage us to continue this work with greater enthusiasm and elevated spirits.
Thank you for this information – I was looking for simple online grammar site to learn marathi & I found this one. Thanks to you. It helped me a lot.
Hi
This is really good content. I am now able to understand marathi. I am still not able to speak because sentence construction is not so easy. But I hope if i start speaking to others, it would automatically improve. I would like thank you for the splendid contribution for all who have/would benefit from this site.

i really love this site!
its as simple as that!!
sir what about perfect tense…?
Is it needed ?
I concur with the views expressed as above. I have also learnt a lot from the lessons prepared very carefully paying full attention to the difficulties usually faced by learners from non-marathi linguistic groups. I have a suggestion to make in this context. Please examine whether it is possible for you to incorporate my suggestions as given below, in your study material.
If you add phonetics with your lesson for explaining the nuances in pronunciation, it will be of immense help to the learners. After all, language learning can never be complete without the knowledge of how it is spoken by the native speakers. There lies the problem as the conflict between the bookish and practical knowledge often poses some difficulties in putting the lessons into practice.
I tell this from my own experience. I had a smattering knowledge of Marathi and can follow a little bit when spoken with a slow rhythm and can also speak a little. Many a time I have started with some simple words but the lack of confidence compelled me to switch to Hindi within a very short time. I stay outside Maharashtra, but I have to visit Maharashtra occasionally. Sometimes I listen to the Marathi TV channels in home, but the both the accent and the speed becomes the deterrent factors to continue to listen for long.
Some foreign language learning courses have come out with audio-visual aids that became very popular and useful for the learners. I think if you adopt the same technique, you will be flooded with accolades from all the learners. I am quite aware that the element of cost-factor will have to be examined, but still I like to put this suggestion for the benefit of all learners.
Hi Tarit,
Your comments have always been wonderful. The doubts you have raised throughout your course on this website were very intelligent. I am really happy to have a reader like you.
Coming to your suggestion of adding audio support, as earlier raised by many, is long due in my have-to-do list for this website.I am into a job and do not find enough time nowadays to even add new lessons.Perhaps in future, I’ll hire someone to do this job.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. Keep learning Marathi on Mindurmarathi.
Regards
Akshay
Thanks for your prompt reply. I can well understand that your time constraint is the reason to add new features in the course content. Let us only hope that something will possibly be done in the future.

The last two sentences needs a tad correction.
तुम्ही क्रिकेट खेळत होतात.(tumhee cricket khelat hotat)=You were playing Cricket.
Shouldn’t it be tumhi cricket khelat hota.
AANI
ते क्रिकेट खेळत होते.(te cricket khelat hote) =They were playing Cricket.
Should be “te cricket khelat hotat”.
Let me know if these changes are correct.
No Kushal, ‘ते’ requires the be-verb ‘होते’.
‘te cricket khelat hotat’ would be wrong
i had been eating a mango translation pls
